2021-2022 National Theme: Make It Count


Chapter Goals

​

  • Our chapter will have at least 35 members.

  • Our chapter will participate in community service projects throughout the year.

  • Our chapter will continue to have many individuals participate in STAR Events.

  • Our chapter will increase Power of One participants.

Local/District Events

​

  • District 3 Leadership Conference: Our chapter went to Midland University and spent the day learning more about leadership and FCCLA.
     

  • Trick or Treat So Others Can Eat: Our chapter went to two communities to collect non-perishable food items to donate food to the local food pantry.

​

  • Food Drive: Members collected and distributed food to donate to the local food pantry. 

​

  • Diaper Drive: Our chapter is planning to host a school-wide sponsored event to collect diapers for our community needs.

​

  • New Years Celebration: Members stopped for hot chocolate, apple cider, and juice to kick off the new school year.

​

  •  Faith Food Pantry: Members volunteered to help with the distribution of food items that we collected during our food drives.

​

  • Concession stand: Members take turns working shifts at concession stands to help raise money for our chapter.

​

​

State Events

​

  • Fall Leadership Workshop: â€‹Members attended Fall Leadership Workshop in Kearney and learned about their specific officer duties or how to be involved as a new member. 

​

  • Peer Education Conference: Members wanting to go to the Peer Education Conference in Kearney will attend the conference in February and have the opportunity to learn more about each team's Outreach Project and different topics related to each team's focus.

​

  • State Leadership Conference: Members will be able to attend the State Leadership Conference at the beginning of April in Lincoln, and they will have the opportunity to learn more about a wide variety of topics. STAR Event competitors will present their projects to evaluators to determine if they qualify for National Competition.

​

National Events

​

  • National Fall Conference: Members had the chance to explore careers, network with other members, learn about professional development opportunities. No members from our chapter attended this event.

​

  • National Leadership Conference: Members will have the opportunity to explore San Diego, CA at the end of June. If STAR participants qualified for nationals, they will present their projects to evaluators for the National Competition.
